He’s always loved fast and flashy cars, so when the series Mr. Bean became a success, Rowan Atkinson sought out to buy the perfect vehicle for him to roam the streets in, spending around $712K to do so. Although the sight of him in a McLaren might be contradictory to what the audience was used to seeing him in by then, no one can say that this car wasn’t a head-turner. Apparently, although it only had about 40,000 miles on it when he sold it decades later, he had also crashed it two times! He wound up selling his McLaren F1 for an undisclosed amount under his $10.5 million original asking price in 2015.
